I loved my visit with this little girl. I'm not sure if it's because I have my own sweet girlies (and am currently growing another), or if it's because I'm such a fan of her sweet momma, Bethany (check out her and Cory's maternity session here). Whatever the reason, I fully enjoyed the snuggles, rocking, sweet smells and riveting birth story during this session. I can't lie...I like babies. Sweet Chloe was already 4 weeks old when we had our session. Though babes are a little harder to get sleepy at this stage, Chloe gave us a short little cat nap and then showed off her big blue eyes for the rest of our time. Isn't she sweet??

jerad + margriet {wedding}

If I had to describe this wedding in two words, they would have to be laughter and beauty.  Ever since I shot Jerad + Margriet's engagement photos back in January, I had been anticipating their big day.
It really is such an honor to photograph someone's wedding. I love part of something so intimate and HUGE from start to finish. Margriet + her gals fed and "coffee'd" me when I arrived in the morning and I got to share in the nerves and preparations with her sisters and life long friends. We met up with Jerad and his boys for their "first look," at Mill Lake. Margriet had been hoping for some blossom shots and thankfully, we caught the tail end of the blooms. It was such a gorgeous moment. From there, we headed to my aunt's back deck, (check out more of her stuff at Vintage Home), and then down to Clayburn Village to finish up portraits before heading to the ceremony and reception. We did have to dodge some rain, but the day can only be described as beautiful.
Jerad + Margriet ~ thank you for such a fabulous opportunity. Not only was your wedding lovely, but you both together are lovely. I love your that you are genuine, and so full of laughter and joy. Blessings to you both!
