aryn + domenik {engagement}

This session was my first one on location in beautiful White Rock; and, I couldn't have asked for more beautiful and lovey dovey clients than Domenik and Aryn.  This adorable couple started out as high school sweet hearts eight years ago and, after a proposal at the end of the very pier some of these photos were taken on, are looking forward to tying the knot next summer. Aryn is stunning (obviously) and Dom is just so sweet with her...he actually confessed to enjoying the session because he got to snuggle his lady so much!

To the happy couple ~ It was lovely to spend an afternoon together and get know you a little bit - I am so excited for your wedding next summer! Until then....

jay+ koralee + family

I met up with this great family a few days back to get some photos done before their middle daughter heads across seas at the end of the month. You may recognize Molly from a previous session on the blog, along with Bryce and Ali (who also happen to be my brother and sister-in-law). What a fun opportunity to get the whole group together!

I was met with laughter and smiles and the entire session was basically a continuation of that. There is a lot of teasing and humour with this group, so it was pretty easy to get some great expressions from them.

Jay and Koralee -  It is obvious that family is something you all value greatly, and I hope that you find this reflected in your photos.

savannah {newborn}

This little darling is Savannah.  In these photographs she is 11 days old...brand spankin' new! Savannah's momma, Kirstin, is the daughter of a  co-worker/friend; I have gotten to know Kirstin a little bit over the last few years and know these two things for sure: She is a sweetheart and she is a great mom! Savannah's big brother, Damien, woke up from a nap near the end of our session, so I was glad to be able to get him into a few shots too...after he showed me his trucks, of course.

Tom, Kirstin, Damien and Savannah ~ your little family is so sweet! A huge congratulations on your new addition and looking forward to getting your gorgeous kiddos in front of my camera more as they grow :)
