I'm not sure even to begin with this post. My journey with this couple has been one of the most exciting and eclectic experiences of my photography career. Take a peek back at this couple's engagement
sessions...yes, there were two (due to
rain) ! At the engagement session, we discussed the possibility of Steve and I travelling to Midway, BC, to capture their wedding day. Raylene sent me a few images of her location ideas, and the deal was done. Cam + Raylene took so much care in the planning and details of their wedding day. There were so many unique and personal touches...not to mention the breath-taking location.
{The first part of our day was spent getting ready at the couple's home located in Bridesville, (I know, right!?!) just a short drive away from the church}
{Raylene...you looked so gorgeous...it was really hard for me to pick which bridal portraits to post!}
{then there was Cam + the boys...they looked awesome, but I think they practically melted in the 35 + degree weather}
{first looks...oh, how I love them}
{After the first look, we proceeded to this old, abandoned house at the end of their street}
{once again, we all know I have issues making up my mind what photos to post...throw me in a location like this, and it becomes almost impossible}
{the wedding party}
{I love that the couple left their mark on this special spot}
{right before heading to the ceremony, we took advantage of some cool props to personalize some of the photos}
{where they became man and wife...}
{following the wedding, there was an adorable lemonade stand and candy table for guests to enjoy}
{the lemonade was served in mason jars...half frozen, half fresh....yummmm!}
{We had a bit of time before the reception, so we quickly popped over to the small town of Greenwood, where the couple had their first date}
{this sweet, small historical town is known for being the setting for the movie, "snow falling on cedars."}
{onto the recpetion where even more special touches were found...the favour? a compilation of love songs as a gift from the couple}
Cam + Raylene ~ I can't thank you enough for the opportunity of photographing your wedding. It was such a special day, and Steve and I really enjoyed getting to know you! We wish you every blessing and happiness as you start your lives together.
