Meet Darin + Kelsey...lovers of bright colors, all things Disney, fairytales and each other. After several rescheduling conflicts (mostly due to our lovely lower mainland weather) I finally met up with this couple in Fort Langley, BC. Though I had never met them before, I knew it must be them when a car filled to the brim with colorful helium balloons slowly passed me at our appointed meeting spot. Kelsey and I chatted wedding plans, love stories and Pinterest. I'm very interested to see what these two come up with for their wedding day.

krisztina + braiden {abbotsford engagement photographer}

Oh, this cute couple. He plays guitar and sings. She is a student nurse and the oldest of 8!  I met them for the first time at their engagement session last weekend, and ended up a little bit smitten with them. Krisztina and I have been emailing back and forth for the last few weeks, chatting wedding photography and planning this initial session. As we continued our online dialogue, Krisztina was sweet enough to share a bit of her and Braiden's love story. One statement summed up what I saw at their session, "we are more best friends than anything." High school sweethearts that have been together for the last four years, they are down to earth, kind, love a good evening in, comfy clothes and each other.
Braiden + Krisztina  ~ it was so great spending the morning with you and getting to know you a bit more. We are so excited to be joining you on your wedding day this summer...I have no doubt it will be amazing :)

sneak peek {engagement}

It was a whirlwind weekend for us.  In 48 hours, we shot three different engagement sessions and covered a beautiful engagement event. Each of the three couples brought something unique and different to their sessions; each with their own love story... and I can't wait to share them with you!

olivia jane margret {newborn}

The newest little person in our lives is miss Olivia Jane Margret. You can peek back at her family's maternity session here. Born on Friday to my baby bro and his superstar wife;  (natural childbirth people...yowsers!!!) She is my very first neice and girly cousin for our kids...and we love her.
Her big brother is pretty smitten too :) I explained to her that I was her Auntie Megs and she would often see me hiding behind this big, black camera...and I think she understood. She's sweet like that.
