I must confess that as Steve and I drove out to Sooke for this wedding, I had butterflies in my stomach. It wasn't our first wedding by a long shot, but it was our first official wedding in Victoria. And we wanted to rock it for this couple :) Joel and Jenny are a delight to work with. We met last fall for their engagement session and have been anticipating their destination-style Sooke resort wedding ever since. The venue was the Premier Prestige Oceanfront Resort and it was awesome. It lent a grand elegance to the rustic feel of the natural setting...perfect for our laid back, but super classy couple :)
A big thanks to Claire from Chocolate Lily Floral for the amazing bouquets (succulents in a bridal bouquet? Be still my heart...) and also to Marion and team from Ma-Luxe for dolling up the bride and her ladies to perfection! Biggest thanks goes to our bride and groom for giving us the honor of being your wedding photographers and welcoming us into your day as friends!
