.ryan + julie. granville island + heritage hall wedding photography

I was so excited for this wedding. When Julie contacted me last year about wedding and engagement photography it was the beginning of a really neat personal reunion (we co-counselled at summer camp a looooong time ago) and a spectacular photography experience! After shooting their engagement photos engagement photos, I could tell that Julie and I shared a love of everything vintage, handmade, pinterest. Enough about me and Julie though :) This day was all about Ryan + Julie...it was truly a beautiful celebration day. I love how they tied in personal touches throughout the day...from the "art" Julie's young students made for the reception, to the paper airplanes that took flight as Julie + her pilot husband exited the ceremony. It was perfect.
The day began at the amazing Pan Pacific Vancouver where Julie and her ladies got ready in a breath-taking suite....

{julie was so excited to show me these shoes with my last name penned in gold}

{a few blocks away, Ryan and the guys were also getting ready in style at the Coast Hotel Coal Harbour}

{the wedding party met at Granville Island for first look (my favourite) and portraits}

{after portraits, we made our way to the ceremony and reception venue, Heritage Hall}

{love this picture of a tuckered out little flower girl}

~ Ryan + Julie ~ It was our joy to spend this amazing day with you. It was so great to be around old friends! We were so impressed by all the details and planning that went into your wedding...it was awesome. We also loved hearing the tributes and testaments to your love story at the reception. We wish you continued happiness and blessings as you share your lives together. Thanks for having us!!!
